The Maulers hosted the Helena Bighorns for game 3 of the AWHL Championship series at the Glacier Ice rink on Friday night. A close game to the very end, but Helena heads home with a 3 to 0 lead in the series and an opportunity to wrap up the series Saturday night on their home ice.

The Maulers faced the Helena Bighorns for game one of the AWHL Championship series in Missoula on Friday night and fell to the Bighorns by a score of 4 to 1. They have a chance to even out the best of 7 series tonight in Helena.

The Missoula Phoenix faced former quarterback Shane Jurasick and the Bitterroot Blaze on Saturday night at Rollin Field. The Phoenix offense struglled and the Blaze started off the season with a 23 to 0 win over the Phoenix.

The Maulers posted 75 shots on goal in their final game of the USA Hockey Junior Nationals against the Southern Oregon Spartans. The game remained close despite the large shot advantage by the Maulers, ending in a 3 to 1 victory for Missoula.

The Missoula Maulers got a goal from Cory "Big" Schafer during overtime to get their first win at the USA Hockey Junior Nationals over the New Jersey Rockets.

The Missoula Maulers faced the hometown Rochester Ice Hawks on opening night of the 2012 USA Hockey Junior National Championship. Two early goals and a deafing crowd helped the Ice Hawks cruise to a 7 to victory.

The Billings Bulls opened up their 2012 National Championship attempt against the Northern Lights of the Minnesota Junior Hockey League with a 6 to 3 victory at the Rochester Recreation Center.

With a 5 to 0 win over the Gillette Wild, the Missoula Maulers will advance to both the Tier III USA Hockey National Championship tournament and the AWHL Finals.

The Maulers erased a two goal deficit in the final minutes of regulation to force overtime and eventual defeat the Gilltette Wild. The Maulers head to Wyoming with a two game lead in the best of 7 series which will determine who plays in the AWHL championship.
